Fly Little Cupid Fly! By Ladymermaid
As Valentine's Day approaches you must be on your toes and on the alert for a certain little winged guy in a diaper. He flies around shooting love laden arrows into unsuspecting passersby and he is out there just waiting for his opportunity to strike you.

He is pure trouble for anyone who wants to maintain a single lifestyle. He can take you down with a single twang from his mighty bow. Scary thought huh? So who is this magical little love maker that we refer to as Cupid, and exactly why is it that this Cupid character is so interested in you, and your heart and why does he usually show up around Valentine's Day...read full article.

Blogging For Fun And Profit
A Blog is your thoughts, your opinions, your views on the news, your diary or anything else that you would like to write about. It can be any length from a couple of words to a few thousand words. It is any blurb that you wish to share with the rest of the world through the use of the internet. A blog is a weblog.
Blogging hit the internet with a vengeance in 1999 and it has shown no sign of slowing down. There are numerous sites where you can go to post or to read blogs. Most sites are free. Some sites charge a small fee. Some sites pay you to share your blogs with the world. Others offer you a free web site to place your blog on. Once you have your blog site you can then place affiliate ads on it to generate income. How you choose to enter the world of blogging is up to you.
I started blogging this past year and I am now officially addicted. So never wanting to be alone in an addiction I am hoping to pass this delightful time passing along to you. What you will find here is a listing of a few of my favorite blog sites and an explanation as to what I see are the advantages of these sites.
Helium
This site is so easy to understand and maneuver around that even first time bloggers will have a great experience here. When you write at Helium your articles are read and rated by the rest of the Helium community. You in turn are asked to read and rate the articles written by your fellow Heliums. Helium pays out to its writers a share of the revenue that it receives in from advertising on its site. The ranking of your article determines the percentage of income that Helium will pay to you. Other opportunities to earn income from this site are available from writing under publisher titles to writing for awards. If you write well then chances are that you might get published and earn a fair share of money for your efforts. Helium also runs regular contests where they offer money as rewards for writing. Best of all, this site is fun and gives you the opportunity to express your opinions to the world. It also offers you the opportunity to hone your skills as a writer. The link below will take you directly to Helium and from there you can find your way around Helium.
Squidoo
Squidoo is a very interesting site, you can create a quality blog here, and have the opportunity of including links and images within your articles. They provide you with a free web page or "lens" to express your blog on. You choose how much or how little advertising you want on your lens and you receive a percentage of the income generated from these ads. You are responsible for promoting your lens and you can do this by joining groups on squidoo, sharing it with friends and family, or writing so well that your blog gets chosen for "lens of the day". This really pretty little pink link will take you directly to sign up to write your own blogs, or the itty bitty teeny weeny link will take you to a listing of my Squidoo lenses. You'll be able to find your way around Squidoo from either of these links.

Blogger
Blogger is Google's answer to the world of blogging. At Blogger you receive a free web page on which to create your blog. You are given a choice of templates to choose from which is really nice. Your revenue is generated through Google ads and you decide how much or how little advertising you want to place on your blog site. You must sign up for a Google Adsense account to participate in advertising through Google. http://gifts-tips-ideas-tea-party.blogspot.com/
Wordpress
At Wordpress you receive a web page on which to create your blog. This is an interactive blog site allowing others to comment on your blogs and you in turn have the opportunity to comment back. You promote your own web page.

Hubpages.com
Hubpages is a friendly little blog site that has a nice advantage to it over other sites. They really do provide a lot of tools and advice to help you out in your efforts to receive earnings from your writings. So go in, check them out, and get your opinion or sophisticated advice out there for the world to view. Just click the following link to get a peek into the services that Hubpages provide!

Creating Your Own Web Site
If you decide to create your own web site there are numerous free or very low priced sites that you can do this with. Find yourself a webhost. Select a domain name. Fill your website with whatever it is that interests you most. If you wish to earn an additional income from your website simply add affiliate marketing programs or Google ads to it, then start blogging to promote and create linkage to your site. Share-a-sale is one affiliate marketing program that you might want to look into.

Have fun with blogging and good luck out there.

Some of the hottest Redneck gift items are those that are comprised of that precious heavy metal known as cast iron. If your gift can sit on a wood stove, be nailed to a wall, or used to hit an intruder over the head with, then it is the perfect gift to give to your country friends and relatives this year. For a gift that really does last forever, wrap up a little taste of the country, and this year give a gift that is made of cast iron.

A Little Redneck History

Redneck History
Rednecks have come to be known as an indispensable and fiercely proud component of the American population. This courtesy of the rednecks of yesteryear, who through their hard work and independent attitudes, paved a gentler pathway for modern day Rednecks to walk today.
Viewed as a class of people with little sophistication and even less desire to develop any, they are strongly loyal to family and home..... read more
